This is our moment to step up by stepping back. It’s important to let our children navigate their own, sometimes delightfully unpredictable, paths through high school. Here are two ways we can help them do so:
Encourage our students to reach out for themselves to a teacher, a dean, a counselor, a coach, an academic support specialist, and residential life. Miss Hall's is filled with a deeply dedicated faculty and staff whose jobs are to support students in every way possible to get the most out of their high school experience.
Encourage your student to get to know at least one faculty member well enough to feel entirely comfortable asking for a college recommendation—and to befriend at least one adult on campus with whom they can be completely themselves.
We also invite you to help us make MHS a better school for all students as a volunteer with our Family Committee.
Again, welcome to the Miss Hall's community. We’re delighted to have your student—and you—join us.
