Student Life

Boarding Students

Living at Miss Hall's is fun!

Our resident faculty are educational professionals whose primary responsibility is living and working in the residence halls, ensuring students receive the highest level of support.

Our dedicated team plays a key role in guiding you through your academic and social lives, providing support, and giving encouragement.

They also work closely with each other and our student leaders to lead fun events, to foster bonding, and to address community living topics.

Review the Student Family Handbook for the 2019-2020 school year.

Housing

List of 4 items.

  • Our Dorms

Miss Hall's students come from all corners of the globe, and about three-quarters live in one of our three dorms on campus; Main Building, New Residence Hall, and Witherspoon.
  • Proctors

Seniors chosen as Proctors play an important role in dormitory life. They help both new and returning students adjust to life at School. They also help resident faculty managing day-to-day life in the dorms. They assist in proctoring study hall each evening and complete "check-in" for the dorm on weekday nights. Proctors are often the most knowledgeable and informed people living in a hall.
  • Residential Faculty

All dorms have resident faculty members who live in the halls. These hall parents, along with the Proctor, are your "go to" people. They oversee all aspects of dorm life, serving as mentors, providing guidance and support.
  • Your Room and Roommate

When you enroll as a boarding student you are assigned a room and a roommate. Each room includes a bed, dresser, desk and chair, and either a closet or wardrobe. We will send a packing list and information about what you can bring with you to campus.
