Make A Difference Week

Our October week of uplifting giving was a resounding success!

Living our mission to contribute boldly and creatively to the common good, our extended community came together starting Saturday, October 23, a global day of celebration known as “Make A Difference Day," to raise a total of $175,727 in support of student life and wellness at Miss Hall's!

More than 100 alums, family, and friends stepped up to meet and exceed every one of the amazing challenges that emerged throughout Make A Difference Giving Week:

  • We crushed the early-bird challenge to raise $25,000 by October 25, a bold beginning!
  • Families of MHS students raised $10,000+ to activate a match from parents of a student in the class of 2023!
  • The Class of '88 won the MHS Moms Challenge, a fundraising race between alums who are also moms of current MHS students.
  • Our whole community reigned victorious, blowing by the finish line challenge of $10,000 to activate the match from a generous alum.

Miss Hall’s faculty and staff make a difference each day in the lives of our students. There are countless ways that students show up for each other. And even more ways that our alums and families lift each other up.

Our week of giving was all about student life at Miss Hall’s, the everyday magic that creates lifelong bonds. As we bring everyone back together on campus after so long apart, we are focused on connection, physical and mental wellbeing, and making a difference in each other’s lives.

Take it from members of our Student Life Team, your contributions lift us up, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
