David Hopkins joined the School in 2017 as Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management. David came to MHS from the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Georgia, where he was the Director of International Programming. In his new role, David is responsible for all of Miss Hall’s enrollment management and student recruitment efforts. He also joins the School’s Leadership Team, the senior administrative team that meets regularly to exchange information, set institutional goals and policy, advise the Head of School, and anticipate future needs and opportunities for the School’s ongoing growth. David holds an M.A. in Teaching Foreign Language from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Binghamton University.
Meagan Ireland joined MHS in June as Associate Director of Admissions, coming to MHS from Pittsfield Public Schools, where she was District Coordinator of the 21stCentury Community Learning Center (CCLC) since May 2015. Previously, Ms. Ireland was a CCLC Site Coordinator at Herberg Middle School, also part of Pittsfield Public Schools. Ms. Ireland holds a B.S. in Business Management from Plymouth State University and is pursuing an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
James Eberhart, who joined MHS in 2014 as a Mathematics Teacher, is now the Associate Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. James brings to MHS international teaching experience in Bhutan, South Africa, and Bulgaria; boarding and day school teaching experience at Hyde School in Maine, United Nations International School in Manhattan, and St. George's School in Rhode Island; and more than a decade of administrative experience in independent schools. James holds an M.A. in Private School Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University and a B.A. in Physics and Medieval/Renaissance Literature from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
Kimberly Kinne P’18, who joined the School in its Development Office in 2007, was named Admissions and Communications Coordinator in June 2018. Previously, Kim had served since 2014 as Digital Communications Manager, overseeing the Miss Hall’s website, electronic communications, and social media platforms. She also previously served as the School’s Database Manager. Prior to joining MHS, Kim was a Development and Alumni Relations Associate at Berkshire Country Day School, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. She holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is the mother of Olivia ’18.
Ali Haas, Associate Director of Admissions, joined the MHS Admissions Office in September 2016. Previously, Ali had worked since 2013 at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, where she most recently was Assistant Manager for the R&R and Kripalu Programs Department, coordinating outdoor guides, yoga teachers, and workshop presenters who offer programs at Kripalu. Ali holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Business from St. Michael’s College, and she studied International Politics and Business at the University of Salzburg.
