Your next steps will be bold
With impeccable experience under their belts, our students go on to attend some of the best universities and colleges around the world
College is only one step in the life of a Miss Hall’s graduate, but it is an important step. Our College Counseling team helps students find the right college or university for them, using an individualized and empowering process, while also helping families prepare for the transition after Miss Hall’s.
Like so much at MHS, the college process is shaped by the students themselves. Through one-on-one and small-group meetings with our college counselors, students identify their strengths and weaknesses, outline what they are looking for in a college experience, and think deeply about the life they want to lead beyond college. In addition, each student has an individual college application writing mentor, a faculty member who meets with them regularly throughout the process and acts as a writing coach.
“This is why I sent my daughter to Miss Hall’s School, because I know she is being looked out for and given college advice she would have never received at her old high school.”
Mom of Sam ’22
We encourage our students to apply to schools they feel are a “good fit,” while also helping them see that the skills they have developed during their time at Miss Hall’s will enable them to grow, learn, and adapt no matter where they land.
