International Students

    • -

Check out this year's virtual Culture Fair here.

Founded in 1898, Miss Hall's School is one of the oldest boarding schools for girls in the United States. Currently, international students represent approximately 37 percent of the Miss Hall's School student body, join students from all over the United States who come here to pursue a college-preparatory education.

Today we have students from 20 places around the globe (including dual citizenship) — Brazil, China, Dominica, Ethiopia, Finland, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Somalia, South Korea, Thailand, Tibet, the United States, and Vietnam.

The International Student Alliance (ISA) is a coalition made up of students from the US and other countries represented in our student body. Throughout the year, ISA sponsors cultural programs, international meals, and special events.

List of 4 items.

  • Our Dorms

Miss Hall's students come from all corners of the globe, and about three-quarters live in one of our three dorms on campus; Main Building, New Residence Hall, and Witherspoon.
  • Proctors

Seniors chosen as Proctors play an important role in dormitory life. They help both new and returning students adjust to life at School. They also help resident faculty managing day-to-day life in the dorms. They assist in proctoring study hall each evening and complete "check-in" for the dorm on weekday nights. Proctors are often the most knowledgeable and informed people living in a hall.
  • Residential Faculty

All dorms have resident faculty members who live in the halls. These hall parents, along with the Proctor, are your "go to" people. They oversee all aspects of dorm life, serving as mentors, providing guidance and support.
  • Your Room and Roommate

When you enroll as a boarding student you are assigned a room and a roommate. Each room includes a bed, dresser, desk and chair, and either a closet or wardrobe. We will send a packing list and information about what you can bring with you to campus.
