Dining Services

We are proud to serve the MHS community and are dedicated to preparing healthy, well-balanced meals — from breakfast through dinner — that meet the needs of today's active teenagers.

Each day our dining services prepare and serve hundreds of meals (breakfasts, lunches, and dinners) to the 200-plus students, 100-plus employees, and frequent guests at Miss Hall's School. Providing a wide variety of foods that are delicious and nutritious is our goal.

Whether we are preparing delicious and nutritious entrees or providing tips about forming healthy eating habits, we work hard each day to make sure that the dining program meets the same high standards as every other aspect of the School. That means using only the freshest ingredients, serving plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, offering locally available produce, and choosing healthy whole-grain products.

We can also make accommodations for students with special dietary needs or food allergies.

Dining Room Hours


Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Lunch:      11:30 a.m. to 1:30.p.m.
Dinner:     5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday
Brunch:     10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Dinner:      5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

After Hours
Fresh fruit, healthy snacks, and beverages are available all day and through the evening

  • Healthy Habits

    Maintaining a busy schedule requires healthy eating habits.

    And because the school day for most MHS girls doesn't stop at 4:00 p.m., menus are designed to fit the needs of today's active teenagers. That means preparing nutritionally balanced meals with only the freshest ingredients. 

    The menu at MHS includes a variety of organic and vegetarian options, as well as healthy choices such as low-fat yogurt, natural peanut butter, tempeh, and bulgur wheat.

  • Healthy Options

    The day begins with breakfast, which offers many of the traditional favorites, from pancakes and French toast to eggs and omelets cooked-to-order, and a breakfast bar five days each week. Belgian waffles are made-to-order and available often during the week for breakfast and dinner. 

    Morning menus also feature breakfast burritos and croissant sandwiches, as well as familiar sides such as breakfast meats and home fries. Other regular options include turkey sausage, veggie breakfast patties, yogurt "smoothies," fresh-cut fruit, fresh pastries, bagels, and both hot and cold cereals.

About Aramark

Philadelphia-based ARAMARK is the contracted food service provider at Miss Hall's School. The company has been providing food services at the School since 1958, and MHS is believed to be the company's longest-running school account.

In addition to providing food services for MHS students, faculty, and staff, ARAMARK also provides meals for special events throughout the year and for the Tanglewood Music Center during the summer months.

About us

Located in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts, Miss Hall's School is a private, college preparatory, boarding and day high school for girls in grades 9-12.
