Dear MHS Families,
On behalf of the Parent Program for the Annual Fund for MHS, welcome back to campus and, if you are a new MHS parent, welcome to the Miss Hall’s School community. We are excited to begin the school year and see the new programs, daily schedule and other updates made over the summer.
By way of introduction, the Parent Program is a group of dedicated parent volunteers who work together with the School to raise funds for the Annual Fund for MHS and sometimes help the Admissions Office with Open Houses. We play an important role by encouraging families to join us in supporting the School with their time and philanthropy. These efforts result in a parent base that understands and supports the needs of Miss Hall’s School and girls’ leadership education.
As you may know, tuition does not cover the full cost of a Miss Hall’s education—in fact it covers only 65%. The Annual Fund helps to support teaching and learning initiatives, underwrite improvements in campus facilities and technology, provide scholarships, and fund signature programs such as Horizons and the Girls’ Leadership Project. It also supports the Academic Skills Center, College Counseling and Student Life Program, our Athletics and Expressive Arts programs, and the library. In summary, support from parents and families makes the MHS experience more rewarding for every student.
During the year you will hear more from us. We welcome you to the MHS community and thank you, in advance, for supporting our school.
