Merritt Colaizzi joined the School in February 2018 as Director of Advancement, overseeing marketing and development strategy for Miss Hall's, including alumnae and parent engagement, communications and marketing, major gifts, planned giving, a comprehensive campaign, and the Annual Fund for MHS. In her role, Merritt works closely with the Board of Trustees and volunteer leadership and also sits on the School’s Leadership Team. Merritt most recently served as Director of Development at the Clark Art Institute, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where she also held the positions of Campaign Director and Director of Major Gifts. Previously, she was the Publisher of an online media company with 4 million subscribers. Herself the graduate of an all-girl, K-12 education at The Ellis School in Pittsburgh, Merritt earned a B.A. in Art History from Trinity College and an M.A. from the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art.
Natalie Matus joined Miss Hall's in July 2017 as Director of Leadership Development, and oversees the Family Fund Program, Reunion and Leadership Giving. Natalie came to MHS from the Solomon Schechter Day School in Newton, Massachusetts, where she was Associate Head of School for Institutional Advancement for six years, overseeing the Advancement, Marketing and Admission functions and completing two major campaigns. Prior to that, she had extensive experience in all areas of Advancement at Concord Academy, Concord, Massachusetts and Simmons School of Management, Boston, Massachusetts, an MBA program for women. Previously, she was on the faculty of Simmons School of Management, teaching Market Research and at Radcliffe Institute, and ran her own marketing research company.
Natalie earned a B.A. in psychology from Brown University and an MBA and MSW from Simmons College. As the mother of a Miss Hall's alumna, (Gabrielle Matus '05) and an alumna, faculty and staff at an all-women's college, she is delighted to be part of the MHS Advancement team, supporting girls' leadership and empowerment.
