At Miss Hall’s School, we consider athletics to be an extension of the classroom, teaching our student-athletes how to be teammates and leaders while instilling in them values of hard work, determination, humility, and sportsmanship. Our student-athletes, through competition, learn how to handle success, overcome failures, and work as a team to contribute to a common goal.
We offer a wide variety of opportunities in an effort to promote competition and community as well as good health and well-being. Our Athletics Department offers students multiple varsity and junior varsity sports as well as recreational activities in an effort to ensure our students can find a physical activity that best suits their needs and desires.
Our coaches come from both inside the MHS community as well as the local community and offer our student-athletes top-notch instruction. Our coaches range from MHS teachers to former Division 1 athletes and coaches who not only know the sport but also care about the students.
We look forward to meeting you.
All Miss Hall's School students must participate in at least one team sport each academic year as well as a minimum of one recreational activity each year.
All new students, regardless of grade, must participate in the fall season.
Participating in one of the school's two theater productions fulfills the team sport requirement and is equivalent to meeting the athletics requirement for the year. More about our theater program.
While these are the minimum requirements, we strongly encourage our students to participate as much as possible, as we feel it is within teams and at recreational activities that some of our strongest bonds and friendships are built.
