Athletes Recognized for Fall Season

MHS recently celebrated its fall athletes, who saw many successes on and off the courts, trails, and playing fields during the 2017 season.
The all-school event was held in Centennial Hall, with Athletic Association co-Heads Merriam Lrhazi ’19 and Aysha Vadukul ’19 beginning by recognizing participants in dance, afternoon fitness, racquet sports, yoga, recreational golf, and the fall play. Students who participate in off-campus activities such as dance and ballet, were also applauded.
Director of Athletics Brad Horth followed by recognizing the season’s all-star team selections. Varsity soccer players Emily Hunter ’18 and Merriam Lrhazi ’19 were named all-stars for the Women’s Western New England Prep School Soccer Association (WWNEPSSA), while varsity volleyball player Emma Genovesi ’18 was named an all-star for the Western New England Prep School Volleyball Association (WNEPSVA).
