Application Process

How To Apply

  • Application

    Apply online and pay the $50 application fee. MHS also accepts the SAO Common Application , the TABS Common Application and the Gateway to Prep Schools application.
  • Testing

    All applicants must take the SSAT test. Call (609) 683-4440 or visit www.ssat.org to register for the test. Be sure to send the results to Miss Hall's School, code #5120.

    International students whose first language is not English must submit a TOEFL. Visit the TOEFL website for registration information. Be sure to send the results to Miss Hall's School, code #8014.
  • Transcripts

    Please contact your current school and have three years of academic transcripts sent to MHS. Parents must sign the "release of transcript" line on the Guidance Recommendation form and submit the form to your school’s Guidance Counselor or Registrar.
  • Recommendations

    Distribute the English recommendation, Math recommendation and Guidance recommendation forms and return envelopes to your English and Math teachers and Guidance counselor. These forms can be downloaded on the right-hand side of this page.
  • Your Interview

    Once all the above documents have been submitted, applicants must interview with an admissions representative in person or via Skype. We will arrange your Skype interview once your application is complete.

    Chinese applicants must interview with an admissions representative in person or schedule an interview with Vericant in China. You may contact Vericant directly to schedule an interview: www.vericant.com.
  • Visit Us

Important Dates to Remember

February 1st – Applications due (Candidates applying after February 1 are considered on a rolling admission basis as space permits.)

February 1st - Financial Aid Forms due (Click here to apply for financial aid.)

March 1st - 2016 Federal Tax Return due to SSS by NAIS (for Financial Aid applicants)

March 10th - Admission Decision sent out

April 10th - Admission Decision deposits and signed contracts due
