  • Trailblazing MHS alumnae act as “books” that community members, a.k.a. “readers,” take out in the form of small group discussions in various locations across our historic campus. It’s an opportunity for young women and adults to ask questions about interesting paths, careers, and identities.
1:30 p.m. Horizons Spotlight
  • MHS students share fascinating research-based projects with alums who provide feedback and counsel on project development.  Director of Horizons Alison Basdekis will guide this interactive and valuable alumnae-student opportunity.
2:30 p.m. Brew and Gold Tailgate
3:00 p.m. Soccer v. Millbrook School
3:30 p.m. Volleyball v. Berkshire School

Last September, 125 alumnae, and friends gathered to celebrate the 120th birthday of Miss Hall’s.

The fall weather was glorious, and the highlight of the event—besides the countless hugs—was a conversation among Julia Heaton, retired Head Jeannie Norris, and three amazing young alumnae: Melissa Fares ’10, Alisha Malkani ’13, and Masha Jones Slavin ’07. The discussion, moderated by MHS Director of Horizons Alison Basdekis, was filmed by MHS student Celcie Tetteh '21.

Watch the panel discussion, view photos and read more from last year.

Share Your Story @ Come Home!

At 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, select MHS alums will come together as part of an “Alumnae Library,” a chance for young women and adult “readers” to ask questions about interesting pathways, careers, or identities. If you have an inspiring story to share and are interested in taking an active role as a “book,” email Alumnae Relations Manager Lynelle Weaver or call 413-395-7066.
