We live in a diverse and global society and are committed to providing MHS students with authentic world experience here on campus. Our academic program intentionally builds the intellect, skills, and mindset that empower young women to contribute boldly and creatively to an evolving global society, while preparing them to pursue higher levels of education and lifelong learning. With this in mind, we are also committed to providing educational opportunities beyond the walls of Miss Hall’s through global travel.
For the 2019-2020 academic year we are very excited to announce four trips and one to be defined in the fall:
1. Iceland: Explore Iceland - Reykjavik and Beyond
2. Explore STEAM and History in Washington, DC
3. Tanzania, Through Their Lens
4. Washington, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland: The National History Academ
5. Haiti (Information on this trip will be available soon. Please check back!)
All trips will be led by Miss Hall’s School faculty and staff who have deep experience leading trips and are eager to share their passion and knowledge of the culture and history of each country. Each trip will also be supported by travel organizations and specified partners in each country as well.
In the following pages, you will see specific information about the trips. Additional detailed materials about safety and other protocols will be sent to all families, once students are enrolled as trip participants.
We are thrilled to invite students to attend these trips and welcome your questions. Those interested in any of these trips may contact me or Trip Leaders directly.
