Q. What are the deadlines for Class Notes submissions?
A. Classnotes for the Spring Magazine must be in our office on or before December 31. Submissions for the Fall issue must be made on or before June 30. Don't wait . . . Submit your news today!

Q. What is the best way to submit a photo for inclusion in the magazine?
A.
IF YOU ARE TAKING A DIGITAL PHOTO:

Set the camera to use the highest resolution that your camera allows. The typical default setting produces a photo of 72 dpi at actual size, or less than a quarter of the resolution required for a printing press. NOTE: once a photo has been taken digitally, you cannot increase its resolution.

IF YOU ARE SCANNING A PRINT:

For best results, scan the photo in black & white mode, at actual size (100%), at 300 dpi. NOTE: if the original print is smaller than a standard 3x5, then it should be scanned at a size greater than 100%; as a rule, bigger is better than smaller. The scan may be saved as an EPS, TIFF, or JPEG.
