The Girls' Leadership Project
The Girls’ Leadership Project is central to our vision of setting girls on a lifelong path to having influence and working with others to make change happen. In myriad ways, both in and out of the classroom, each girl discovers more about her own leadership style and how to be her strongest authentic self while staying in relationships with peers and adults.

In this leadership laboratory called Miss Hall’s School, girls practice the skills that the larger world requires for success. Being able to promote one’s strengths, negotiate with others, accept and give constructive criticism, and speak directly and with conviction about what matters most are central to leading a life of fulfillment and purpose. Miss Hall’s Girls graduate ready to succeed in any setting.

We call ourselves PAaLs, the Personal Authority and Leadership Source. Through research, activities, and projects that we design, we are discovering how to foster girls' leadership and sense of personal authority.

Our Core Values

Authenticity:  We guide each girl to develop, test, comprehend, and act from her own spirit, core values, abilities, expertise, and judgment.

Challenge:  We challenge each girl to learn and practice the skills that will allow her to have confidence in her authentic self and to exercise her personal authority.

Girls’ Leadership Potential:  We teach each girl to develop a vision of her capacity to help shape the world in which she lives.

Collaboration:  We teach girls the competencies required to bring themselves into authentic and influential relationships with others toward shared goals.

Our Mission Statement

The MHS Girls’ Leadership Project provides opportunities for girls to learn the skills that will enable them to lead lives of authenticity as they influence and work with others to bring about positive change.
